There is a Raymond German listed as 1 year old in the 1895 census of IA, Hancock County, Garner district. Draft card shows 1890 birth date, but everything else (1900, 1920 and 1930 census) shows 1894. Draft card shows Fauquier Co. 4/21 birthdate, but states 1890. Draft card shows street conductor, which ties to other census records with Raymond L as an adult on Wisconsin Avenue, which all approximate the 1894 date. 1900 Marshall (Fauquier Co.) VA Census shows Apr 1894, which meshes month-wise. Only explanation is that he lied on the draft card to appear four years older (27) than he really was (23).
